TITLE: Production Manager
LOCATION: Brea, California

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a team focused on delivery quality products and delivery timeline
• Develop strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and factories
• Plan pre-production package and provide input regarding fabric/trim details, initial costs, wash standards, and construction details for execution
• Responsible for managing the margin and costing of all programs
• Work with factories on implementing new ideas in production setting
• Monitor new industry trends in fabric/techniques and provide competitive analysis
• Provide mill/vendor recommendations and feedback to senior management
• Train and develop production coordinators

REQUIREMENTS:

• Thorough understanding of product development process
• Expert fabric and garment construction knowledge
• Must have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks.
• Strong business management skills to include product costing and sourcing to enhance gross margin profitability.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and negotiation skills.
• College degree or textile education preferred
• Speak, writes, read Mandarin Chinese
• Five plus years product development experience, preferably in production and/or sourcing. Experience should include minimum of two years managerial experience.
