Inspired by lifestyle designer Kathy Ireland, ki by Orioxi offers contemporary, casual knit styles in silhouettes cut to fit women 35+. The manufacturer's suggested retail price points for the collection range from $35-$80.
"The Spring 2007 collection heralds one year since launching the ki by Orioxi brand," said Chris Young, executive vice president, Orioxi International Corp. "The huge response to the brand indicates our marketing strategy is right on target."
With the Spring 2007 collection, ki by Orioxi continues its design philosophy to offer a collection that is on trend with the key elements of style for the season. Innovative fabrication and fit remains the signature of the ki by Orioxi brand. The busy American woman will be able to choose from a collection that mirrors her multifaceted lifestyle.
The elements of style reflected in this collection are a relaxed, harmonious feel; a vintage, yet modern look; and an air of romance and femininity. Spring 2007 heralds a new palette of the colors of nature - naturals with the added pop of bright white, muted blues and greens, and beach house hues of pink and turquoise. Feminine indulgences of embroidery, lace, beading and appliqué details accent throughout. This season, ki by Orioxi offers five deliveries called Paradise, Harmony, Gee Bends, Cherry Blossom, and Spanish Rose.
ki by Orioxi Harmony - A fusion of inspirations translates into a look of unity and balance for this group. A soft color palette offers choices of white, buttercup, pale peach, crystal, wisteria and olive - perfect for yoga class after a volunteer meeting. Tops in featherweight cotton jersey include a short sleeve Henley tee and tank with dove embroidery and short sleeve tees with floral appliqués and lace. A zippered jacket in stretch French terry cotton with printed lining and lace trim and printed lining works to pull it all together. Matching pant choices include one with elastic waist with contrasting zigzag stitching or faux jean pant with raw edge side trims.
ki by Orioxi Paradise - This group evokes eco influences mixed with touches of techno for a retro modern story told in shades of peach, key lime, tundra, quarry and grass prints, sandstone and bright white. The group's spirit is best demonstrated in the stretch French terry statement jacket sporting the embroidered phrase "love and peace . . . join now. Inside there is mesh lining and outside an iPod pocket. Choose from stretch French terry elastic rib waist drawstring pants with cinched bottoms and woven constructive pants with rolled over hem, snap buttons and patch treatments. Top it all off with a cotton tank with novelty charms, or short sleeve raglan sleeve tee with rolled over cuff and button hole designs, or short sleeve tee with "paraiso" print.
ki by Orioxi Cherry Blossom - Clean, simple and sophisticated describes this group. A color palette of bright white, daisy, lemongrass, and cottage pink mixes and matches for town to country chic. The rolled over waist pant with shaped side panel at front and bird print at front waist are feminine and super functional. Couple the pants with the matching stretch French terry long sleeve fitted jacket with printed lining and back graphic. Complete the look with choice of cotton tanks, v-neck with lace trim or scoop neck tee with hired front neck and shirred bottom seams.
ki by Orioxi Spanish Rose - The Latin inspiration remains important for Spring 2007 and this group interprets the theme in luxurious colors of crème, lemon, viola, turquoise, melon and cayenne. Stretch jersey tops in cotton include a tank with cinched front neck and metal star embellishment ; and tees with smocking at the chest and side screen prints. There is also a folkloric peasant sleeve tee with shirred front yoke and lace trimmed placket. Pair the tops with pants trimmed with lace at the side seams or front sides in the gaucho style. Finish off the look with the smart-looking stretch French terry jacket in this boasting a contrasting lining and well-placed embroidery and appliqué details.
ki by Orioxi Gees Bend - Escape to spring in this group of carefree and flattering pieces in crème, pink joy, sea breeze, and mistletoe colors. Stretch cotton jersey tees, henleys and v-neck tops partner with an elastic waist rib pant with raw-edge pockets. Anchoring the group, two summer jacket choices, with and without a hood, for evenings out on the porch. Both are inventively embellished and finished in contrasting lining.
